■Globus Washitsu
In the heart of Manhattan, we have created unique spaces that remind one of the wabi-sabi spirits often found in Kyoto's remarkable structures. Globus Washitsu is dedicated to assist Japanese cultural understanding and as a Ryokan for traveling artist. It includes a tea house named named “KeiSui-An,”which is dedicated to social gatherings and dialogs amidst the Japanese tea ceremony. Two tatami rooms galleries are on our top floor that exhibit contemporary Nihon crafts and art.

Handcraft gallery in Shimokitazawa Tokyo, we opened “waonoya tokyo joe” in 2010. We create original remake HAKAMA , selling recycle KIMONO and also presents variety of work shops. “Tabi making work shop” is the one of popular one , we hold it all over Japan not only in Tokyo. Specialize in hand sewing of original Japanese clothing style

“KIMONO MODERN"is a kimono brand born in California, USA. They create a modern, simple and cute kimono, which are elegant but not necessarily formal - kimono can be for everyday wear. Kimono Modern is a very popular net shop for high discerning women who want to enjoy kimono on a daily basis. Not only making the Kimono comfortable, but we are designing for kimonos as an important fashion statement. In addition, Kimono Modern has original production and collaborations with manufacturers and wholesale businesses for distribution in retail outlets throughout Japan. It’s their aim to please and create a wider audience for kimono through their many international goodwill efforts of conveying and promoting Japanese motifs, fashions and designs.
